Culprit

Mobile releases can't be rolled back, but feature flags can. Culprit finds the flag variant behind a crash, ANR or error spike, posts the finding to Slack, and can switch the variant off with a kill switch, all within about 15 minutes.

Works with Crashlytics or Sentry for crash data and Firebase Remote Config or Statsig for flags. Every finding is logged to BigQuery, with Looker Studio and Grafana dashboards.

Tech Lead for Preferred Currency Pricing, owning backend and mobile architecture across the Fares, Payments and Reserve teams. Shipped v1.0 across the US, Canada, UK and EU, projected at $20M/yr at scale.
Found and closed a currency-display gap for cross-currency riders, worth a projected $5.2M/yr. Led the default opt-in from scoping to launch and built the shared currency picker.
Extended currency pricing to Uber Reserve, business-travel profiles and international payment compliance, adding roughly $0.5M+/yr.
Led Uber Cash Partner Rewards (Marriott Bonvoy, Amex, Aeroplan) end to end, and E-Money notification settings for EU compliance across 9 EU countries and Uber Money Mexico.
Designed a shared risk SDK and microservice pattern now used by Gifting, Uber Money, Add Funds, Statements and more.
Built an AI-assisted on-call tool that cut alert triage time by 85%, and led a quality push that raised test coverage from 64% to 90%. Mentored engineers through 50+ cross-team bug fixes and interviews.
